El Doradoans help people in countries throughout the world, but there is also great need right in our own city. We can meet that need, too!

Mission El Dorado is an opportunity for the citizens of El Dorado to offer hands-on assistance to senior citizens, handicapped people, local charity organizations, and low-income families in their own community. Examples of projects that will be tackled include painting, yard work, handyman, cleanup, residential repairs, and light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. This week of service is sponsored by the El Dorado Ministerial Alliance and supported by numerous local churches, businesses, and caring individuals.

The first Mission El Dorado in 2007 was a smashing success, despite the near constant rain. Over fifteen businesses and individuals donated a little over $4,000 to enable about 50 local “missionaries” to complete fifteen projects and begin several more. Recipients were stunned and expected us to want something in return - but this is about free grace! Please help us make our second mission even better.
